On the Wings of an Angel

An album to lift you to the aspiring heights and protective realm of our Angel guides. On the Wings of an Angel is the vehicle to soothe both body and soul and release out thoughts from the earthly plains of our daily existence. Stuart (released under the name Katie Cadence) has taken this theme and transposed the concept into a wonderful piece of music, which has longevity in both its quality and use. The instrumentation, particularly the piano, lends a celestial tone in its harmonic base.

Manufacture This!

If you'd been given the job of designing and building the Eiffel Tower would you immediately go and hire the very best swimming instructors in the world? Probably not! You'd probably plump for some architects and builders. So why, when making music that will be heard by billions of people do the 'powers that be' telephone the finest modeling agencies to find people to make those records? This is a question that is puzzling many people in modern society and not least, musicians and composers.

Strangely enough, those industry promoters are also scratching their heads and asking: 'Why isn't the world taking our artists seriously? We've hired the very best models????' Hmmm! a tricky one?!

Lazy Days

Released Nov 2000 - 'Life's too short to not be feeling good'. Following on from the style pioneered in "Late into the Night", this is a 'feel good' album taking you into a world of hot, sunny, lazy days in the garden or on the beach.

Spend the day with me as you listen through : Track1 starts us with a little samba feel and the gorgeous, lilting, warm vocals of Sarah-Jane. Pianos, saxes, strings etc lead us to our lunch on the terrace.

After this bouncy track you can settle back and enjoy the afternoon heat. In this track listen especially to the converstaion between vibraphone and panpipes midway through - it could be your friends chatting as you drop to sleep in the hammock. While you're asleep you'll fly through the skies, again with beautifully ethereal vocals of Sarah Jane.

Just time for a cocktail or two before everyone takes carriages home -concluding, piano track. What a superb day it's been!

Love Eternal

Probably the most popular piece of music I've ever written. I've played this album live extensively throughout Britain and other parts of the world, on grand piano and the reaction is always the same - they love it !

It's funny how a piece of music captures people's imagination, and with this I always get asked 'Is it from a film?' The feedback from audiences is so great when I perform this live, that I am overjoyed just to play.

It makes me happy and I appreciate it so much, This is why I write and record music, not for any other reason, and this is why I stick around in such a hard business.

Because of the extensive live renditions of this piece the album has matured greatly since first released and as a result I have re-recorded it and it is being re-released this year 2001.

Love's Dream

This was the follow-up to Love Eterrnal and people's favourite on here is 'Love's Promise' which has featured on a lot of compilations including one with Mozart and Debussy which got to number 12 in the Classical Charts.

This track and a couple of others will feature on the re-recording / re-release of Love Eternal.

Lifeforce

Something a bit different. Full of energy for life this album is packed with up-tempo anthemic 'chunes' and has already enjoyed success in various charts in the UK and across the world.

Listen especially for "The Runner" and "Your Love Lifts Me". Wonderful vocals from Charmaine Ward and Sarah Jane.

Life in Colour

'You'll do more than survive, you'll live Life in Colour." Through my music I would like to help people live life to the full, this is a large part of my musical quest. You only get one chance so why fire on only one cylinder, 'live life in colour'.

This is another quite up-tempo album featuring some powerful themes and is all the better for vocals by Zoe Hawkins, Charmaine Ward and Sarah Jane and guitars by Gig (my brother). Check it!
